The Princess Says Thank You

I’ve decided that today is time for catching up.

As some of you know, it’s been a little chaotic around here lately. This means that we are behind with our thanks and acknowledgements re: Saint Mollie’s generous donation of her prize to me the pup.

For those of you who are a little confused Misaki ran a competition to find a Saint for blogville last month. I entered the pup. You may have noticed from some of our recent posts that he is very good at tearing his toys apart, good practice for protection duties I thought.

He didn’t win it. Don’t worry about his feelings, I didn’t even tell him I’d entered him so he wasn’t too upset when I told him he’d been beaten 🙂

Mollie our wonderful pal over at Mollie’s Dog Treats won it but demonstrating true saintliness she kindly donated the prize to me Raffles. Doggy from Doggy’s Style also won and he donated his prize too!! I Raffles would not have been so generous so the best guys won.

At the height of the chaos which was our house at that time we received this wonderful prize and The Help has never got around to saying thank you properly and showing you all what I we got.

Packed with Prezzies

I got first choice. "What do you mean I can't have all of them?"

"OMD - What is it?"

“OMD – What is it?”

"Okay. Got it. Food" :-D

“Okay. Got it. Food” 😀

Tucking into mine with great enjoyment - and that fox? My toy!

Later on I let him play with the fox.

Showing the action that made him a near winner, the pup is a blur as he battles the evil fox.

You might like to have an update. The treats I have to confess did not last long. They were great 🙂

The tug is still with us, though it has seem some vigorous pulling action and is a little frayed. The ball on the rope gave the pup a very happy afternoon but then sadly ended up just being a bit of rope. However, being a pup he played with that for a while!

The fox is amazing. He has been loved, tortured, tugged and sucked and remains intact. He is even still squeaking.

All of the gifts were a great success so a huge thanks to Misaki at The Misadventures of Misaki, to Mollie and Mollie’s Dog Treats for donating her prize to me Raffles, and to Doggy at Doggy’s Style for donating his prize too.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Love from Zena, the happy princess

I am The Princess (aka Zena), niece of Zac the All Black and awesome Tibetan Terrier who took me in when I was just a six week pup and tried to teach me all he knew. When I was six and he was eight, Zac crossed over the rainbow bridge and all of a sudden I was alone. I could no longer be the ditzy, happy-go-lucky pup that I had been. This is a diary of how one Princess managed when the world turned real.

  1. I was about to ask if the fox was still alive! MOL!
Enjoy and have a nice Sunday!

  2. You haven’t dismantled the Poodle toy yet????

    • Hee! hee! Only mentally – physically he’s proving a challenge, but I have him in the head department! Psychological warfare 😀

  3. What fabulous prizes and how great the Mollie and Doggy donated theirs to you. Can’t believe that fox has remained intact. Litchi would have destroyed it in seconds.

    • Aren’t Doggy and Mollie fantastic? Foxy is a great success. He’s a good pull toy, although the pup is difficult for me to play tug with as he outweighs me about 3 to 1, and it’s a good sucking, chewing toy but somehow stays whole. It’s spent the night out a few times and just needs a quick wash before it is restored. Excellent.

  4. I’m surprised the fox is still intact with Raffles on the case!

    • I think because it doesn’t have stuffing he hasn’t yet been able to tear it apart but he loves shaking it and throwing it up in the air.

  5. Wowzers Zena – what a lot of great STUFF you and Raffles got thanks to your buddies and pals!!! I love that fox thing – looks like it would be great fun to drag around the house. I may have to mention that to Mom! Have fun with your prezzies……I’m SURE you will!

  12. The fox sounds like an amazing toy! Gizmo sent me over to say hi, since I featured the Tibetan Terrier as my breed of the week this week. Hi!!!

    • Thank you for dropping by and I’m right off to read about ME on your blog 😀
Yes, the fox has proven to be very resilient and a lot of fun, the pup was tossing it around last night so we had a flying fox!
