The Princess Investigates – Searching for Miss Mollie

I have been unable to rest today. With the crisis deepening and Doggy threatening to go to war we are in danger of forgetting that Miss Mollie is still missing!

The guinea pigs from Hutch a Good Life are scrabbeling all over the problem, Litchie from Long Life Dogs and Cats has been called out to mediate and Misaki and Sam are investigating.

I couldn’t just sit here all day without doing something.Β  So I decided that I, The Princess, would leave the comfort of my soft beds and ever open wardrobes in the land of bling and go and look for Mollie.

I searched everywhere at the reserve

I searched within the recent garden excavations a little afraid of what I might find. No Miss Mollie.

I searched around the compost – no hint of chicken livers or mummified pigs ears and NO SCENT of Mollie.

Then… all of a sudden I picked up a very interesting whiff! Could this be Mollie? I’m off to find out……..

With love – The Perspicacious Princess!

I am The Princess (aka Zena), niece of Zac the All Black and awesome Tibetan Terrier who took me in when I was just a six week pup and tried to teach me all he knew. When I was six and he was eight, Zac crossed over the rainbow bridge and all of a sudden I was alone. I could no longer be the ditzy, happy-go-lucky pup that I had been. This is a diary of how one Princess managed when the world turned real.

  2. Zena,
I know you are worried about the war, but I doubt whomever got her had time to go to Australia. Europe will be in a deeper crisis after all this but she must be found and Doggy’s honor cleaned.

    • Well when words like ‘global’ war are thrown around I do get worried. Australia is a long way away but it’s still in this world and global means us down-under too! Although I am not a very sensible TT so I could have it wrong πŸ™‚

      • I mean, if Mollie is being guarded by kangaroos Doggy will have to invade Australia, but kangaroos are neutral, they don’t take sides, so I would say you are safe.

      • Phew! That’s a relief. Mind you if Mollie is being guarded by kangaroos it will be touch to get her out – those things are mean – and I mean, rip your guts out mean!

  3. Hi Princess Zena! It’s nice to meet you…..and I’m glad you’re helping on the investigation of “Where’s Mollie????” ! It seems something terrible has happened and the more of us who search – the more likely it is that we will find her…..it’s looking like she’s been kidnapped from Doggy’s castle. Yipes!

  4. You are such a generous princess…but please tell me what you found…is it the “HOT” trace to Mollie?

  5. I’ve been out and checked all the caves near here!

    • Clowie, I can imagine you climbing the mountains and searching through the caves, standing tall on the hillsides with the gentle breeze blowing through your lovely coat and the hot Spanish sun beating down on you.
      I know, I’m a romantic πŸ™‚
You should wear a flowing red scarf which you can pull up over your ears to shield you from the hot sun and maybe a pair of designer glasses with a bit of bling to protect your eyes – even when sleuthing you should look your best.

      • I love the breeze blowing through my coat! I’m carrying some water and I’m also carrying treats – just in case Mollie hasn’t been given anything to eat or drink. The scarf and glasses are a good idea – I’ll raid the biped’s wardrobe!

      • Good for you Clowie – Best of luck πŸ™‚

  8. Well done Zena. We are very proud of you, putting your fears behind you and setting off in search of Mollie. What a brave princess you are proving to be!
